| Welcome to
the Teacher Education Centre. We are situated in Market Street, Jamestown. We provide a training facility for new local teachers and
professional training for established staff. The Pupil Referral Unit is located on site to provide a temporary education for students who are unable to participate in main stream schooling. We also house a large bank of resource materials and a well-resourced Literacy centre available to all schools and teachers on the Island. |
| New teachers are trained over a two year period. The training takes place within the Education Centre and on placement in schools on the Island. Currently we have 4 trainee teachers. |
