Curriculum |
Of major importance is the acquisition of basic skills, particularly in Literacy, Numeracy and Science and the development of these skills to a degree of efficiency so that the school leaver is prepared to take full advantage of further education at Prince Andrew School. Religious Education, History, Geography, Art, Music, Physical Education and a ten week programme of cooking, woodcraft, crafts and drama are offered to develop the child's all round education. |

The school places great emphasis on reading and has adopted a Whole School Reading Policy. The school has ERIC (Everyone Reading In Class) or guided reading sessions for 20 minutes per day. |
|
The school also caters for students with Special Educational Needs and it is our aim to encourage full support from the parents of SEN children in their learning programmes.
