Unless otherwise stated the borrowing period is for up to three weeks.

Public Library:

Adults - up to 8 books

Children - up to 3 books

Professional issue - 8 books can be borrowed for a period of a school half term

Mobile Library:

Adults - 6 books

Children - 2 books

Short term visitors:

Those on short term stay applying for membership tickets to borrow books will have to pay a deposit of £10 for up to 4 books. This will be refunded to the borrower when the books are returned

Renewal of book loans:

Books can be renewed twice by telephone and stamped at the library on the third occasion (provided that the books have not been requested by another customer).

Reservations:

Reservations can be made for library books or other materials, which are on loan to other clients. You will be informed immediately these become available.

Requests:

When requesting a book or information that is not readily available, staff will endeavour to meet your requirements whenever possible from other sources, such as Prince Andrew School Library, Teacher Education Centre Library and Agricultural & Natural Resources Library.

Multimedia:

Customers have access to the multimedia stock on request to Library staff.
