Welcome. We hope to provide information of all aspects of the education system of St Helena including: the administration, schools, teacher training, curricular and non-curricular activities. Our main offices are situated in a building known as 'The Canister' at the head of Main Street in Jamestown.

The Department is responsible for the seven schools on the Island, teacher training and library facilities. Please browse our site and visit some of our schools, meet some of the staff and students.
